ProfiTherm D-4 sensor

ProfiTherm D-4 – soil temperature and moisture sensor (snow melting system), with heating and 10m-long cable. This sensor registers the temperature and presence of moisture. It is designed for outdoor installation on the soil surface in open areas. If necessary, two sensors of ProfiTherm D-4 type can be connected in parallel. The sensor is installed in open areas, in places where snow or ice build-up is most accumulated, with a sensing element up, on a solid surface in a concrete base, so that its surface is level with the surface of the soil. Where asphalt pavement is used, a concrete niche should be arranged around the sensor. To protect the sensor cable, it is recommended to lay it in the mounting pipe. Compatible with ProfiTherm K-2, ProfiTherm K-3 controllers.
